Masood Akhtar To Be Honored During White House ‘United We Stand’ Summit

President and Founder, We Are Many – United Against Hate, Masood Akhtar, is one of 21 Americans who are set to be honored at the White House this week for their work in uniting their communities. The honor coincides with a “United We Stand” Summit at the White House on Thursday. That event “will bring together heroes from across America who are leading historic work in their communities to build bridges and address hate and division, including survivors of hate-fueled violence,” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in a statement last month.
